It's Almost Summer

It's almost summer so it's time to think about summer things- swim suits, shorts, sunglasses, tank tops and summer-y dresses. Plus, what is summer without a party? Girl Crush of March and April: Taylor Swift

Taylor's style is girly, and we love how she wows everyone onstage and offstage with it. She's also a very caring person, she donated $4 million dollars to the Country Hall of Fame Museum. That's just the start of why we love Taylor.

Her girly persona is onstage with her in her gorgeous dresses, love songs (our fave is Red) and her wavy hair.

This is one of many GORGEOUS dresses that Taylor wears onstage. It isn't elaborate but it's very pretty on her. Our favorite part of the dress is the length. Floor length dresses are very elegant.

Taylor looks very pretty in her dress. It shapes her body and is a flattering color on her.

Using Lace as an Accent

I found this dress at Alixandra Blue in Hindsale, IL. It is a product of Free People.

The lace on this dress is used as an accent fabric. It makes this dress unique by adding that touch of girly-ness with the way Free People used the lace. The lace is actually see-through on the bottom and the top which, in my opinion, is kind of sexy and freeing. 

This is the type of dress that deserves something a little more like a free-spirited shoe, such as a flat sandal.

Cute Lace Outfit

I found this adorable outfit in Alixandra Blue in Hinsdale, IL.

If you can't tell, the lace is in the shorts. I love this outfit because of the colors and the look of each component. This color combo is one of my favorites because it's soft and somewhat girly.
When I look at this outfit, my eyes are immediately drawn to the shorts but interesting part of the outfit is actually the sweater. The back of the sweater looks closed but it actually is like a flap. The texture of the material of the sweater is soft and warm but paired with the shorts, there's a summery date night look.
